In 1921 our Organising Missioner The Revd S J Kirkby said “An important concern to our Society is that of the training of men and women for our distinctive work. It is absolutely necessary that this be kept in the forefront. The future of our Society, even the future of our Church depends upon it.”

Helping one's neighbour
BCA’s Kirkby Trust has for many years provided funding for the direct relief of sickness, suffering, distress, misfortune, disability or helplessness in rural and regional areas of Australia. Following the devastating floods in February and March this year, BCA provided a generous donation to the Anglican Parish of Lismore to go towards flood recovery costs associated with the Parish Op Shop.
