BCA has a long history of working in the medical field. Our medical ministry commenced following Organising Missioner SJ Kirkby’s first visit to Gippsland. He saw the great need for pastoral ministry plus medical care.

Today I’m writing to let you know that our current longest serving Field Staff will depart BCA next month. Dale & Rachel Barclay, together with their children Samuel, Joseph, Eden and Talitha have served in the Parish of Sunraysia South since 2007.

Simon Reeve is taking on the role of Senior Minister of Northern Beaches Anglicans following the resignation of The Revd Canon David Hanger. Simon will commence in the role on 19 December.

In exciting news, I’m pleased to announce we have appointed a new Indigenous Ministry Trainee in South Tamworth. Ashley Garlett, a Balladong Nyoongar man from Merredin in Western Australia will commence his traineeship in late April.
