Mike Uptin commenced in the position of QLD/NNSW Regional Officer in February 2021. He works together with Administration Assistant Sarah McKinnon to care for Field Staff, encourage support of BCA and keep supporters up to date.

About the Queensland/Northern New South Wales Regional Office

The Queensland / Northern New South Wales Regional Office is located in Brisbane and supports the work of BCA across five Anglican Dioceses: North Queensland, Central Queensland, Southern Queensland, Grafton and Armidale. BCA has historically worked in all five dioceses and currently has ministry workers in four of them (NQ, CQ, Grafton and Armidale). Over 60 percent of the population of the region live in the southeast corner of Queensland.

March 2026

Pray for the four BCA Connect events happening in mid-April in South East Queensland; may many people attend and be encouraged by God’s Word and excited about God’s work through BCA.

April 2026

As we look ahead to Mother’s Day, give thanks for the mothers in our region – Carmel, Bec, Grace, Monique, Zoe, Joanne, Angela, Sarah and Sandra. Pray that they would be godly examples to their children.

May 2026

Give thanks for the wide variety of church visits so far in 2026 and pray for those coming up; may churches be convinced of the need to spread the Good News of Jesus and support BCA as one of the ways to do that.
