Craig Buchanan

Mike Uptin commenced in the position of QLD/NNSW Regional Officer in February 2021. He works together with Office Manager Craig Buchanan to care for Field Staff, encourage support of BCA and keep supporters up to date.

The Queensland / Northern New South Wales Regional Office is located in Brisbane and supports the work of BCA across five Anglican Dioceses: North Queensland, Central Queensland, Southern Queensland, Grafton and Armidale. BCA has historically worked in all five dioceses and currently has ministry workers in four of them (NQ, CQ, Grafton and Armidale). Over 60 percent of the population of the region live in the southeast corner of Queensland.

The QLD/NNSW team's Prayer Points for September 2024

Give thanks for all who attended BCA Connect last weekend in Cairns and for the encouragement that Daniel & Jenni Avenell were, as they outlined how God is working through the Anglican Church in Emerald and Blackwater.

Give thanks for recent deputations to Northern Hope Anglican and Good Shepherd Anglican in Cairns and praise God that both churches are growing. Pray for both as they seek Assistant Ministers.

Give thanks and praise for the growth of churches and mission support in North Queensland. May people be drawn to attend the BCA Connect event in North Rockhampton on 12 October.
