Sarah McKinnon

Mike Uptin commenced in the position of QLD/NNSW Regional Officer in February 2021. He works together with Administration Assistant Sarah McKinnon to care for Field Staff, encourage support of BCA and keep supporters up to date.

The Queensland / Northern New South Wales Regional Office is located in Brisbane and supports the work of BCA across five Anglican Dioceses: North Queensland, Central Queensland, Southern Queensland, Grafton and Armidale. BCA has historically worked in all five dioceses and currently has ministry workers in four of them (NQ, CQ, Grafton and Armidale). Over 60 percent of the population of the region live in the southeast corner of Queensland.

Pray for Armidale Anglican Synod this weekend (26–28 September) and for Greg Harris and Mike as they share about BCA.

Pray also for the BCA Connect event in North Rockhampton on 11 October; may many come and be enthused for mission.

Give thanks for the Central Queensland Anglican Synod last weekend and the joy of a number of new ministers in attendance. Pray for more workers for the harvest.

Pray for upcoming visits to Noosa Anglican and the privilege of sharing ministry across the three centres with Mark Fairhurst (CMS QNNSW). Give thanks for the supportive relationship between BCA and CMS in QLD and Northern NSW.
