Serving with BCA since February 2014

Frank & Jo Nicol have served God with BCA in the Diocese of North West Australia since 2012; firstly in Port Hedland, followed by five years in Exmouth. In August 2019 the Nicol family moved to Karratha to serve in the Anglican Church. They are grateful for the small group of Christians there and together they reach out to this busy mining town with the good news of Jesus.

The Parish of West Pilbara covers the towns of Karratha, Dampier, Wickham, Roebourne & Point Samson. The Nicol family are based in Karratha, a residential, education and service centre for the West Pilbara region. Twenty-five per cent of the people in Karratha work in the resources sector.

Sunday 7 December is our Combined Churches Christmas Carols event in Dampier and 14 December is our family nativity. Please pray that we would joyfully share the Good News of Christmas and that many visitors would come along.

We are taking leave this month. Pray that our time in the south of the state would refresh us for gospel ministry. Pray for safety while we drive long distances and for meaningful moments with extended family.

Every year is a new year in Karratha based on who God brings along to church.

Pray that God would raise up new Kids Church leaders and musicians.

Pray for wisdom as we consider how to reach out to our community with the team God gives us.
