Serving with BCA since February 2014

Frank & Jo Nicol have served God with BCA in the Diocese of North West Australia since 2012; firstly in Port Hedland, followed by five years in Exmouth. In August 2019 the Nicol family moved to Karratha to serve in the Anglican Church. They are grateful for the small group of Christians there and together they reach out to this busy mining town with the good news of Jesus.

The Parish of West Pilbara covers the towns of Karratha, Dampier, Wickham, Roebourne & Point Samson. The Nicol family are based in Karratha, a residential, education and service centre for the West Pilbara region. Twenty-five per cent of the people in Karratha work in the resources sector.

The Nicol's Prayer Points for December 2024
  • Give thanks for the Combined Churches Christmas Carols on Sunday, 1 December, and pray for our church Nativity service on Sunday, 8 December.
  • Please give thanks with us for the many gospel opportunities we have had lately and that God would bring fruit. We recently held a memorial service attended by 150 community members, most of whom did not know Jesus, where we were able to share the gospel clearly and faithfully.
  • We have also shared the Christmas message in our local school and received great engagement from every class.
  • Many non-Christians are coming along to church at the moment. Please give thanks and pray for those opportunities with us.

The Nicol's Prayer Points for January 2025
  • Pray we have encouraging times visiting our BCA partner churches, St Albans (5 January) and Lockridge (12 January).
  • Please also pray that we will be a support to Frank's parents south of Perth when we visit, as their health is not good.
