Lonny Bendessi

Serving with BCA since July 2025

Former Indigenous Theological Bursary Student, Lonny Bendessi is now serving as Field Staff with the Aboriginal Berean Community Church. Here he will receive practical ministry training amongst First Nations People. Lonny will combine his work with completing his associate degree at the Bible College of South Australia.

The Aboriginal Berean Community Church is based in Adelaide. It is an evangelical church which aims to glorify God as it serves First Nations People as well as all Australians.

Give thanks and praise to God for His calling on my life.

Please pray that in my studies, God will give me wisdom and understanding and uphold me as I seek to do His will.

Please pray for the Aboriginal Berean Community Church and for practical ministry training amongst my people.

Please pray for the young people’s ministry at the church and the discipleship training we’ve begun.

Lonny's Prayer Points for November 2025

Please pray that God will raise up more Aboriginal Christian leaders because the “Harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few”.

Pray that God will guide, strengthen and uphold me as we come towards the end of another year.
