Rod & Amanda Haywood

Rod & Amanda commence serving as BCA Nomads Coordinators from September 2025 replacing Greg & Jocelyn Lay who held the role from September 2020. Rod has served on the BCA NSW/ACT Regional Committee for the past two years and they’ve been Nomads for many years.

The Bush Church Aid Nomads scheme connects Christian travellers with Field Staff and the churches they serve, so they can take part in ministry on their travels. Nomads support the work of the gospel and experience what life is like in remote areas. BCA’s Field Staff and their church communities are very encouraged by the presence of Nomads and their willingness to lend a hand.

Give thanks for the encouragement, support and work that Nomads have been able to do over the course of 2025.

Pray that people will prayerfully consider where they might travel to serve in 2026.

Give thanks for the time of rest and time with family that January brings to many of our Nomads.

Pray for the faithful members of BCA churches in the more remote places of Australia, where new members and visitors are rare.

Give thanks for the Field Staff and congregation members who welcome Nomads as they travel and partner with them as they serve.

Pray for the Nomads serving at the Men@Glen and Kindred Women Conferences in Glen Innes on 27 and 28 February.
