Rod & Amanda Haywood

Rod & Amanda commence serving as BCA Nomads Coordinators from September 2025 replacing Greg & Jocelyn Lay who held the role from September 2020. Rod has served on the BCA NSW/ACT Regional Committee for the past two years and they’ve been Nomads for many years.

The Bush Church Aid Nomads scheme connects Christian travellers with Field Staff and the churches they serve, so they can take part in ministry on their travels. Nomads support the work of the gospel and experience what life is like in remote areas. BCA’s Field Staff and their church communities are very encouraged by the presence of Nomads and their willingness to lend a hand.

The Haywood's Prayer Points for September 2025

Give thanks for Greg & Jocelyn Lay’s service as Nomads Coordinators. Pray that they are blessed with good health and many more years of travel together.

Pray that as we transition into the role, we will be good listeners, prayerful, and wise in service.

The Haywood's Prayer Points for October 2025

Give thanks for the many Nomads who travelled over winter to serve in BCA locations. Pray for the Nomads serving at the AEF Family Camp in Condobolin (3–6 October). Pray they will be a blessing, and for good health and safety.

The Haywood's Prayer Points for November 2025

Give thanks for the new Nomads. Pray they will develop opportunities to go and serve those who serve. Pray that health difficulties may not impact Nomads and their travels. Pray they will trust in the Lord in all circumstances.
