Tom & Tanya Killingbeck lead the faithful on King Island. “I believe that Tanya, our kids and I are in a good place to contribute to the mission of BCA, as we are fundamentally country folk, and we fundamentally believe the Gospel is urgently required in hard-to-reach places like the bush,” says Tom. “Tanya's skills as an early childhood educator will be a great asset on the island, and I have the training and experience to operate as a minister in a remote location as we've done such ministry before, although not as remote.”

King Island is known for it's production of cheese, lobsters, kelp and beef, along with it's golf courses. It is situated in Bass Strait approximately 80 kilometres of the northwest coast of Tasmania and 190 kilometres from the Victorian coast.

Pray that God provides a way to minimise the impact of fuel prices on travel to and from the Island, including freight costs. Thank God for generous people who share eggs, veggies, milk and meat. Pray the Church sees and provides for needs in the community.
