Mission Profile

Tom & Tanya Killingbeck

Calimë (2004) Tristan (2007) Chiara (2009)

Serving with BCA from September 2025

Tom & Tanya Killingbeck and family move to Tasmania in mid 2025 to lead the faithful on King Island. BCA has a long association with King Island, which has been looked after by locums since the retirement of the Thiele's in late 2022.

“I believe that Tanya, our kids and I are in a good place to contribute to the mission of BCA, as we are fundamentally country folk, and we fundamentally believe the Gospel is urgently required in hard-to-reach places like the bush,” says Tom. “Tanya's skills as an early childhood educator will be a great asset on the island, and I have the training and experience to operate as a minister in a remote location as we've done such ministry before, although not as remote.”

Pray for the Killingbecks
March 2026
  • Pray for our Lent and Easter preparations and studies, including some potential baptisms and renewal of baptismal vows. Pray that our Easter celebrations would echo across the Island; that Jesus’ name would be praised and honoured in churches across the Island.

    April 2026
  • Pray that our community would know that our hope is in Jesus following our Easter celebrations.
  • Pray that our Bible studies would meet the needs of the community.

    May 2026
  • Pray that as the weather changes, we maintain our focus on blessing and supporting the Christians on the Island, and find new, dynamic ways to share God’s love.
