Mary & Owen Lewis

Serving with BCA since March 2025

Mary & Owen Lewis, who served with BCA in Roxby Downs for seven years from early 2010 to April 2016, moved to Kangaroo Island in March 2025.

The Lewis’ have a strong background in Christian service and missionary work, which includes thirteen years in Nepal with CMS and many years teaching at St Andrew’s Hall. After their first stint with BCA, the Lewis’ moved to Port Pirie where Mary was the Dean of the Cathedral. For the past four years Mary has served the Parish of Elizabeth in the Diocese of Adelaide as Locum tenens.

We praise God for relief from drought and look forward to new growth springing up and maturing.

Pray for farmers, young people, families and older believers who need encouragement.

Can we fit in a short evangelistic course after Synod and before Advent? Pray that we might explore hope in Christ with friends and contacts this month.

The Lewis' Prayer Points for November 2024

Pray for the election of our new Archbishop this month.

As we run towards the end of the year and anticipate holidays, pray that we will prepare well and make Jesus known through the Town Christmas Carols, Church Lessons and Carols and Christmas services.
