The Welham family moved north to Carnarvon in early 2025. Mike is the Minister-in-Charge of St George’s Anglican Church, with responsibility for Shark Bay. Emma is chaplain at Carnarvon Community College.

The Welhmas are located in the costal Gascoyne region town of Carnarvon, 900 kilometres north of Perth. They also care for the congregation at St Andrew by the Sea in Shark Bay/Denham which is located 100 kilometres south of Carnarvon.
