Those of you who have been BCA supporters for some time, will remember that the Piper family served with us in Lightning Ridge from 2013–2019. Since then, the family has served in Gunnedah in the Northwest Slopes Region of New South Wales. While both David & Joanne grew up in Sydney, they really enjoy working in the bush and are keen to serve in remote locations because of the great need there. "We're excited to be here in Emerald and Blackwater; getting to know the congregations and the towns, and looking forward to working with them to sow the Good News and grow fruitful followers," said David.

Emerald is a town in the Central Highlands Region. Situated on the Nogoa River, Emerald lies approximately 270 kilometres west of Rockhampton and serves as a major service centre for the region's extensive agricultural and mining industries. Blackwater is a rural mining town 74 kilometres east of Emerald.

Give thanks for access to schools for Religious Instruction (RI). Pray that the inter-church group will work well together, and see kids and families hungry to know more. Please pray for success in recruiting and training new RI teachers.
