Those of you who have been BCA supporters for some time, will remember that the Piper family served with us in Lightning Ridge from 2013–2019. Since then, the family has served in Gunnedah in the Northwest Slopes Region of New South Wales. While both David & Joanne grew up in Sydney, they really enjoy working in the bush and are keen to serve in remote locations because of the great need there. We're excited to be here in Emerald and Blackwater; getting to know the congregations and the towns, and looking forward to working with them to sow the Good News and grow fruitful followers.

About Emerald/Blackwater
Western Kangoulu Country

Emerald is a town in the Central Highlands Region. Situated on the Nogoa River, Emerald lies approximately 270 kilometres west of Rockhampton and serves as a major service centre for the region's extensive agricultural and mining industries. Blackwater is a rural mining town 74 kilometres east of Emerald.

Pray for the Pipers

We thank God for our growth groups and our prayer group. Pray that the new groups formed this year would work well together, that people will value their group, commit and grow more like Jesus through it.

May
Pray for ‘Luke’s Youth’; that the youth will grow as well as have fun, and invite their friends. Ask God to provide leaders with wisdom to teach well and for more helpers from the church.
