Serving with BCA since January 2025

Those of you who have been BCA supporters for some time, will remember that the Piper family served with us in Lightning Ridge from 2013–2019. Since then, the family has served in Gunnedah in the Northwest Slopes Region of New South Wales.

While both David & Joanne grew up in Sydney, they really enjoy working in the bush and are keen to serve in remote locations because of the great need there.

We're excited to be here in Emerald and Blackwater; getting to know the congregations and the towns, and looking forward to working with them to sow the Good News and grow fruitful followers.




The Piper's Prayer Points for June 2025

Pray for our Alpha-style course; that visitors would persist in coming and commit their lives to Christ. Pray for connections to grow with migrant community, through church and our shop, and that we will be wise in discipling them.

Give thanks that the EQUIP women’s day was a great encouragement for all the women who attended.

The Piper's Prayer Points for August 2025

Give thanks for more people staying after church for a cuppa, and the greater connection this is helping to build.

Give thanks for the ladies' Bible study started after the EQUIP conference. Pray that more women will come regularly.

Pray for the parents considering baptism of their children, that they would appreciate the goodness of the baptismal promises and willingly make the commitment.
