Nungalinya College Chaplaincy Program

Supported by BCA since 2024

This program in partnership with Nungalinya seeks to offer Indigenous leaders the opportunity to use skills developed during their Applied Ministry course. For each four week Foundations Block, a different chaplain will be invited to work alongside the Deans.

Nungalinya College is a combined churches training college for Indigenous Australians. The College trains men and women for leadership roles in churches and communities by exploring the Bible and Christian faith contextually. Students are trained to understand and participate healthily in community life while strengthening and celebrating Indigenous identity. Approximately 95 per cent of the student intake is from remote communities across the NT, WA, QLD, and down into SA.

Thank God for the provision of a chaplain for Block 3. Pray that God will sustain the chaplain through to the end of the block. May God give her wisdom as she counsels and prays for students in need.
