Kylie & Matt Garrett

Ava (2008)

Serving with BCA since January 2023

Kylie & Matt Garrett, together with their youngest daughter Ava, moved to Darwin in 2023 where Kylie works as the Scripture Union Northern Territory Field Development Manager. In this BCA-supported role, Kylie looks after Religious Instruction (Scripture/SRE), Chaplaincy, SUPA Clubs (primary) and ISCF groups (secondary) in the Darwin area.

The SU Field Development Manager leads and develops schools’ ministry in Darwin. The Manager recruits, trains and oversees a team of chaplains and volunteer Religious Instruction/Education teachers. The role also involves personally teaching RI/RE as well as visiting churches and other supporters to build networks and grow SU’s school’s ministry in the region. This position is a partnership between BCA and Scripture Union.

Pray that our Chaplains have a good rest over the short one-week school holiday break. Please pray for our rural SUPA day on 20 April and our planning for the Katherine Christian Convention Kids’ program.
