Ben & Alissa Connelly

Serving with BCA since January 2023

Ben & Alissa Connelly together with their children Josiah and Vivienne moved to Cowra in January 2023. Ben is the Minister in charge of St John’s Anglican Church. Prior to their move, Ben served at Narrabri Anglican. The Connellys pray that God will grow his church in Cowra.

Cowra is a small town in the New South Wales Central West, set on the banks of the Lachlan River approximately 305 kms Southwest of Sydney. Cowra has a population of just under 10,000 and is surrounded by vineyards, waterways and beautiful countryside.

The Connelly's Prayer Points for December 2025

Please pray for energy in the lead up to Christmas, and for final preparations for our Christmas services. Pray that God prompts people to respond to advertising and attend a Christmas service in Cowra.

The Connelly's Prayer Points for January 2026

Praise God for ‘Breakout’– a kids’ club that has been running for over 20 years. Thank God for the volunteers that came from Sydney churches to run this program, and the opportunity to partner across denominations. Pray for fruit from this.

The Connelly's Prayer Points for February 2026

Praise God for the slower month of January, and an opportunity for some future planning for the parish, as well as some time with our families over the school holidays.
