Ben & Alissa Connelly together with their children Josiah and Vivienne moved to Cowra in January 2023. Ben is the Minister in charge of St John’s Anglican Church. Prior to their move, Ben served at Narrabri Anglican. The Connellys pray that God will grow his church in Cowra.

Cowra is a small town in the New South Wales Central West, set on the banks of the Lachlan River approximately 305 kms Southwest of Sydney. Cowra has a population of just under 10,000 and is surrounded by vineyards, waterways and beautiful countryside.

Pray for the Connellys

March 2026

Praise God for SRE/Scripture and pray that more children will sign up to SRE this year, particularly in the high school. Thank God for all the SRE teachers, including the local Baptist minister who teaches SRE at the high school.

April 2026

Please pray that Vivienne will continue to adjust well to ‘big school’ and settle into a good routine. Pray for our one-day kids’ club being run at the end of the school holidays.

May 2026

Please pray for us as we adjust to Alissa returning to work outside the home. Pray for continued growth in number and maturity in our church, and wisdom in whether to continue with one service or start a second.
