Paul & Cathy Sampson

Josiah Elsley

Born in Broken Hill and raised in Gunnedah, Paul Sampson became a Christian in his early twenties. Since commencing in full-time ministry, he has worked as a Rector of two Sydney Anglican parishes and as a Bible teacher to pastors in cities and regional towns in Africa. He commenced as BCA’s NSW/ACT Regional Officer in January 2022. “Having grown up in the bush and worked cross-culturally, I have some insights into the challenges faced by those ministering in remote and regional areas,” says Paul. “BCA is strategically positioned to have an incredible impact for Christ.”

The New South Wales/ACT Regional Office is located in Sydney. The region incorporates five dioceses; Sydney, Canberra & Goulburn, Newcastle, Bathurst and the Riverina. With over 440 parishes and a population of over seven million, the region has incredible ministry opportunities, and challenges.
