Regional Officer serving with BCA since 2020

John Warner trained at Moore Theological College and was ordained in the Diocese of Sydney in 2003. Before accepting the role with BCA, John worked as an evangelist, pastor and church planter with Holy Trinity Adelaide. John is assisted in the SA/NT office by Esther George. John is married to Geetha and they have four adult children.

The SA/NT region incorporates four Dioceses – Adelaide, The Murray, Willochra and the Northern Territory. In 2021, 1.8 million people were living in SA, with almost 450,000 people in rural, regional, and remote SA. Over 250,000 live in the NT with 11,000 outside the greater Darwin area. The office is based in the Adelaide CBD.

March 2026

Give thanks and pray for the first SA/NT Committee meeting of the year on 6 March. Pray for committee members: Andrew Harris (Chair/BCA Board); Julie Calvert; Dave Brown; Arthur Ang; Jodi Chapman (NT); Matt \& Juliet Mulherin (Port Augusta).

Give thanks for the church communities Jesus is building at Crystal Brook \& Port Pirie Anglican as well as at the Gospel Church Minlaton. Praise God for the warm hospitality at recent BCA Sundays and their partnership with BCA to see renewal in more gospel impoverished communities in the greater York area.

Pray for John's BCA Sundays at Murray Bridge Anglican (15 March) and Loxton and Renmark Anglican (22 March). Pray as John connects with other Riverland pastors as well.

Pray for John as he drives to Coober Pedy to join the visiting SMBC Mission Team (27–30 March). Pray that many might consider going the distance for Jesus.

Pray for John as he visits Darwin and Katherine (30 March – 2 April) to catch up with Field Staff and attend a MOVE NT Conference meeting to plan the 2026 event which is to be held at Nungalinya College on 24 October.

April 2026

Give thanks for the courageous proclamation of Christ over Easter by our Field Staff.

Give thanks and pray for the BCA SA/NT Committee, our volunteers who help out each month in the office, and for Esther as she goes on maternity leave.

May 2026

Give thanks for the Katherine Christian Convention and pray that God powerfully transformed lives.

Pray for good and wise decisions at the BCA AGM and by the BCA Board which meet this month.

Pray for the Regional Officers who will also meet to plan and pray.
