John & Geetha Warner

Bronwen Cooper

John Warner trained at Moore Theological College and was ordained in the Diocese of Sydney in 2003. Before accepting the role with BCA, John worked as an evangelist, pastor and church planter with Holy Trinity Adelaide. John is assisted in the SA/NT office by Bronwen Cooper. John is married to Geetha and they have four adult children.

The SA/NT region incorporates four Dioceses – Adelaide, The Murray, Willochra and the Northern Territory. In 2021, 1.8 million people were living in SA, with almost 450,000 people in rural, regional, and remote SA. Over 250,000 live in the NT with 11,000 outside the greater Darwin area.

Give thanks and pray for

  • Dave & Margie Wood settling into Coober Pedy and for Dave’s healing and recovery from a necessary medical procedure in Adelaide over Easter into early April.
  • Bron Cooper's cheerful faithfulness in the office and as she takes a holiday with her mum and Daughter in mid-April.
  • The enthusiastic Volunteers - Jan, Nyall, Karen, Gary and Annie and their big-hearted extra help in the office these past months.
    Pray for
  • BCA Connect events with the Hurley's & McDonalds and their respective partner churches in the week of 8-14 April.
  • Brendan Hurley as he meets with a group of young adults and senior youth from Partner Churches to begin praying and planning towards a mission trip to Broken Hill in October
  • BCA Connect 29 April – 2 May with the Nadens, Harradines and Waltons and the theme: Empowering Indigenous Christians
  • For safety and for lives to be transformed at the Katherine Christian Convention 3-5 May

    May began with a focus on empowering and equipping Aboriginal Christians with the Waltons (Nungalinya NT) the Harradines (Berean Church SA) and the Nadens (Indigenous Ministry Officer) at our BCA Connect events (29 April – 2 May) Pray that these events went well and many people heard about BCA's ministry with Indigenous Christians.
