Bronwen Cooper

John Warner trained at Moore Theological College and was ordained in the Diocese of Sydney in 2003. Before accepting the role with BCA, John worked as an evangelist, pastor and church planter with Holy Trinity Adelaide. John is assisted in the SA/NT office by Bronwen Cooper. John is married to Geetha and they have four adult children.

The SA/NT region incorporates four Dioceses – Adelaide, The Murray, Willochra and the Northern Territory. In 2021, 1.8 million people were living in SA, with almost 450,000 people in rural, regional, and remote SA. Over 250,000 live in the NT with 11,000 outside the greater Darwin area.


The SA/NT team's Prayer Points for January 2025

  • Pray for preparations for BCA Connect summer edition on Friday, 17 January.
  • Pray as we expand to accommodate and run primary-aged children’s programs.
  • Pray as Mike Raiter prepares to speak.
  • Pray for Rachel Dirks (BCA 4 Kids Ministry) and the Harradines and Hallyburtons who are speaking.
  • Give thanks for Carolina who has taken over from Bronwyn in the Admin role until end of January.
  • Pray God would provide the right person to serve in and grow the Admin role that will continue to see the gospel flourish in rural, regional, and remote SA and NT.
  • Pray that our annual Senior Officers week together start of February, will be a helpful time of fellowship and planning for 2025.

  • Give thanks for a fantastic BCA Connect summer edition, Friday 17 January with over 180 adults, youth and children in attendance.
  • Give thanks for Senior Officers Retreat (3-7 February) that it was a good time in God's word, prayer and workshopping the year together.
  • Give thanks and pray for new Field Staff commencing in SA and the NT and as the SA/NT committee gather to pray and plan.
