Mission Profile

Josh & Naomi Skeat

Caleb (2011) Abigail (2020)

Josh Skeat commenced in the role of Tasmanian Regional Officer in November 2020. Josh, his wife Naomi and their children Caleb and Abigail serve in the Parish of Ulverstone in Tasmania. Josh combines parish ministry alongside his part-time role with BCA. The Skeats previously served in a Ministry Training Arrangement (MTA) with BCA from 2011–2013.

The State of Tasmania has only one Anglican Diocese and it is the oldest continuing diocese in the Country. There is an increased awareness of BCA within the Diocese and an increase in prayer and financial support is greatly appreciated.

The Tasmanian team's Prayer Points for June 2025

  • June is a busy month, both for deputations and in the Parish as we follow up after HOPE25. Pray for Josh as he balances both of his ministry roles, and for many to hear and respond to the Good News.

The Tasmanian team's Prayer Points for July 2025
  • Pray for the furthering of partnerships in our Diocese – that more churches would support our Field Staff, both financially and through prayer

The Tasmanian team's Prayer Points for August 2025
  • As the season of parish annual meetings is in full swing, pray that more churches in Tasmania would consider support of BCA through their mission budget.
  • Pray also for safety on the roads travelling for deputations in cold and wet conditions.
