Serving with BCA since May 2020

Rob & Michelle Edwards, together with their sons Nathan, Josh and Pete commenced leading the Strathfieldsaye Community Church in May 2020. Strathfieldsaye is on the outskirts of Bendigo where the Edwards worked in youth, young adult and children’s ministry for sixteen years. “It is our prayer that the church will continue to be a shining light to the community.”

Strathfieldsaye is a rapidly growing rural/residential town about 10 kilometres south-east of Bendigo in Victoria. The Strathfieldsaye Community Church, a joint venture between the Anglican and Uniting churches, holds a traditional service on Sunday at 9.30am and a family service at 4pm.

As we take some time off, pray that we will be relaxed, refreshed and enjoy some down time!

Pray for Josh as he prepares and starts his end of Year 12 exams later this month.

Give thanks for the kids and teens who attend church and youth group. Pray that they will be discipled and their desire to know Jesus will continue to increase.

Give thanks to God for those in our church who serve so faithfully.

Praise God for the growth in the men’s and women’s ministry that has occurred this year.

Pray that with the busyness of the next few months, we will keep our eyes fixed on Jesus.
