The Faricy family moved to Kununurra in August 2017 where they serve at St James’ Anglican Church. In his role as Minister in Charge, Daniel aims to proclaim the good news of Jesus and present everyone mature in Christ. Rebecca is a full-time mum to Rachael, Jessica & Emily; she also enjoys getting involved in ministry.

Kununurra is a mining and agricultural town in north-west Australia. It is located in the far east of the Kimberley and is only 37 kilometres from the Northern Territory border. There is a population of approximately 7,000, about half of whom are Indigenous peoples.

  • This month we say goodbye to St James Kununurra. Give thanks to God for His faithfulness over many years and pray that in the absence of a fulltime minister, Jesus’ name will still be proclaimed.

  • Pray that God would provide a faithful, godly minister to come and serve at St James Kununurra. Ask that God would give energy to the saints as they use the gifts God has given them to serve at church.

  • Pray for wisdom for the wardens and parish council as they serve. Pray that God would raise workers for the harvest, especially for St James, and give thanks that Jesus looks after his church.
