The Faricy family moved to Kununurra in August 2017 where they serve at St James’ Anglican Church. In his role as Minister in Charge, Daniel aims to proclaim the good news of Jesus and present everyone mature in Christ. Rebecca is a full-time mum to Rachael, Jessica & Emily; she also enjoys getting involved in ministry.
Kununurra is a mining and agricultural town in north-west Australia. It is located in the far east of the Kimberley and is only 37 kilometres from the Northern Territory border. There is a population of approximately 7,000, about half of whom are Indigenous peoples.
The Faricy's Prayer Points for September 2025
This month we celebrate 60 years of Anglican ministry and 60 years of BCA partnering with gospel workers in Kununurra. Praise God, and pray that this work would continue for another 60 years!
Pray that many would come to the celebration service as we give thanks for God’s faithfulness and goodness to us in Jesus Christ.
Pray for our Diocesan Fellow Workers Conference at the end of the month – that it would be a time of encouragement, and for safety as all the ministers and their families travel to Perth for the event.
The Faricy's Prayer Points for October 2025
Pray that the training on how to write a Bible talk will be well attended and will help people better understand His word.
Please give thanks for our Diocese Fellow Workers conference, and for the encouragement of being able to connect with other workers in the diocese.
The Faricy's Prayer Points for November 2025
November is our month of prayer. Ask God to help us as a church be devoted to prayer, being watchful and thankful. Give thanks for the many gospel partners who pray for ministry in Kununurra each month.
