The Hallyburtons moved to Alice Springs in early 2021 after serving in Darwin with BCA and Scripture Union for four years. Topher is working as Community Pastor at the Anglican Church of the Ascension with former BCA Field Staff Kristan & Kathryn Slack.

Alice Springs is a multicultural city with a high Indigenous population and is the third largest town in the Northern Territory. Colloquially known as ‘The Alice’, it is situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, nearly equidistant from Adelaide (1532 kms) and Darwin (1499 kms).

Thank God for all the ministries in our church. Ask God to grow the fruit of the Spirit in all our church family.

Pray for teachers for kids’ church and leaders for youth Bible studies.

April 2026

Thank God for Easter and the opportunity to share the Good News of Jesus.

Pray for rest over the school holidays, safety at the SU Outback Youth Camp, and a good trip with young people to KYCK in Katoomba.

May 2026

Thank God for our church series in discipleship. Pray for all of us to grow in following Jesus.

Pray for opportunities for young and old to serve at church.

Pray that as a church we can engage well with our neighbours.
