Serving with BCA since February 2017

The Hallyburtons moved to Alice Springs in early 2021 after serving in Darwin with BCA and Scripture Union for four years. Topher is working as Community Pastor at the Anglican Church of the Ascension with former BCA Field Staff Kristan & Kathryn Slack.

Alice Springs is a multicultural city with a high Indigenous population and is the third largest town in the Northern Territory. Colloquially known as ‘The Alice’, it is situated roughly in Australia's geographic centre, nearly equidistant from Adelaide (1532 kms) and Darwin (1499 kms).

Thank God for the team working on the combined churches Carols by Candlelight. Pray that many will join our church family for Christmas Carols and Christmas Day lunch.

Ask that God will refresh us in the heat.

Thank God for some rest with family in Victoria.

As the new year starts, pray that our church will be a welcoming community to all those new to town.

Ask God to equip us to share the Gospel with newcomers and long-termers.

Thank God for all educators in Central Australia. Ask that all schools will have the staff required to function well.

As we restart all programs, ask that God will provide the volunteers and resources needed.
