James & Brittany Daymond commenced with BCA in 2017 in an evangelistic role, first in Narromine and then Mudgee. In 2023 they moved to Cobar for James to take up the role of Priest-in-Charge. Cobar had been without a full-time resident Anglican minister for twenty years. The Daymonds look forward to reaching out to the spiritually lost, sharing Jesus for life, and caring for God’s people.
Cobar is a small town in central western New South Wales, 711 kms west north west of Sydney. Copper was found in the district in 1870 and the town’s name was derived from the local Aboriginal Ngiyampaa word for copper, Kuparr, Gubarr or Cuburra, which means ‘red earth’ or ‘burnt earth’.

The Daymonds' Prayer Points for August 2025
