Mission Profile

James & Brittany Daymond

Serving with BCA since March 2017

James & Brittany Daymond commenced with BCA in 2017 in an evangelistic role, first in Narromine and then Mudgee. In 2023 they moved to Cobar for James to take up the role of Priest-in-Charge. Cobar had been without a full-time resident Anglican minister for twenty years. The Daymonds look forward to reaching out to the spiritually lost, sharing Jesus for life, and caring for God’s people.

About Cobar
Ngiyampaa and Wangaaypwan Country
Cobar is a small town in central western New South Wales, 711 kms west north west of Sydney. Copper was found in the district in 1870 and the town’s name was derived from the local Aboriginal Ngiyampaa word for copper, Kuparr, Gubarr or Cuburra, which means ‘red earth’ or ‘burnt earth’.

Pray for the Daymonds
March 2026
  • Thank God for the spiritual life we have in Jesus. Ask that God would bring to life those who are dead in sin.
  • Thank God for the combined ministry of local churches teaching an SU ISCF Christian recess group on Mondays called ‘Snacks & Jesus’.

    April 2026
  • Thank God for forgiveness of sins. Ask that people would become convicted of their sin and realise the forgiveness that Jesus gives when they put their trust in him.

    May 2026
  • Praise God for His almighty power demonstrated by transforming people from death to life. Ask that we would live our lives dependent upon His power and leading.
  • Ask God to build His church in Cobar for His glory.
