Serving with BCA since January 2016

The Kyngdons have lived in the Pilbara since December 2017 where Roger is the Minister in Charge of the Parish of Newman. Together with their children, Roger & Amanda make connections in the church and the local community and spread the good news of Jesus.

About Newman
Nyiyarparli and Martu Country

Newman is a mining town in the heart of the Pilbara. It is a very young and multicultural town of around 3,000 people and additional fly-in-fly-out workers. As Newman is quite isolated from surrounding towns, there is a real sense of community in town. There are lots of children but few teenagers, as high-schoolers usually go away to boarding school.

Pray for the Kyngdons

March 2026

Give thanks for a good start to the school year, especially with Abby starting Kindy (NSW preschool).

Pray for new people coming to Newman and for opportunities to connect and invite them to church.

Pray for our church AGM at the end of the month.

April 2026

Give thanks for Easter and opportunities to celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus. Pray for church members to speak boldly with those around them.

Pray for Ada and Eliza as they attend a CRU camp in Perth and for safety in travel.

May 2026

Give thanks for cooler temperatures.

Pray for BCA Nomads as they visit to assist us in Newman.

Pray that our family and our church will grow in godliness and trust in Jesus for all we do.
