Serving with BCA since February 2017 (Alice Springs since mid-2021)

Christopher and Maria Loreto, or Topher and Chica, moved to Alice Springs in January 2021 from Darwin where Topher will take up a new BCA post as trainee minister alongside former BCA Field Staff Kristan Slack later in the year.

Both grew up in Chile where they were actively involved in youth ministry in their local churches. Topher is a teacher, who in Chile taught Christian Studies and music to upper primary and middle school students, before returning to Australia.

After relocating from Chile the Hallyburtons lived in Sydney where Topher completed a Bachelor of Divinity at Moore College. From January 2017 until December 2020 Topher served as the BCA-supported Schools Ministry Coordinator with SU in Darwin.

The Hallyburtons' August Prayer Points
Thank God for His family in Alice Springs. Pray that as we share our lives together, we may spur one another on to love and good deeds. Ask God to bring peace to this town, and that His kingdom will grow one person at a time.
