Connelly familyWELCOME

Ben & Alissa Connelly, together with their children Josiah and Vivienne, are moving from Narrabri to fill the vacant Field Staff position in the Parish of Cowra.

Garrett familyKylie & Matt Garrett, together with their youngest daughter Ava, are moving from Port Macquarie to Darwin to take on the role of SU Field Development Manager. In this role Kylie will look after the Religious Instruction and Chaplaincy programs, SUPA Clubs and ISCF groups in the Darwin area.

 

Tim StevensTim Stevens has joined the National Office team to coordinate BCA ONTRACK (see page 4). Tim is the minister at St James’ Guyra and will be working with BCA on a part-time basis. Tim is married to Kirsty and they have two sons Will and Ed.


Bronwen CooperBronwen Cooper
 
has commenced as the new SA/NT Administrative Assistant. She is married to Paul who is the Pastor of Trinity Church Campbelltown. Bronwen & Paul have three teenage children, Erin, Lachlan and Tristan.

 

 

FAREWELL

Pip McLaughlinPhilippa (Pip) McLoughlin who has worked as the accounts payable clerk in the BCA National Office since February 2009 was farewelled by the team in late September 2022. Pip will be spending more time with her new grandson as well as caring for her elderly parents and in-laws. She was a much-loved colleague and friend and will be missed by all.


Chris & Wendy ThieleChris & Wendy Thiele
 
have officially retired from active ministry. The Thieles have served on King Island since May 2018 where they built up the church and made strong ties in the community. They previously served with BCA in Beaconsfield from 2006–2010. We wish them all the best in their retirement.


Morgan familyJeremy & Claire Morgan
 
concluded their service in the Central Mallee parishes on Sunday 13 November and commenced in the Parish of Colac on Advent Sunday 27 November. The Morgans served in the cooperating parishes of the Anglican and Uniting Church (nine congregations over 200kms) for two years.

 

 

 

ON THE MOVE

Klouth familySteven & Caitlin Klouth, together with their daughter Hannah, are moving to West Wyalong to take up the role of Rector there. Steven has been part of a new pathway for college graduates to train for future ministry. We pray that this new pathway will continue to be beneficial for raising up gospel workers in the Diocese of Bathurst.


Jack & Lill HarardineJack & Lill Harradine
 
conclude their ministry in Broken Hill in January before Jack starts in a new role of Outreach Ministry Worker for the Aboriginal Berean Community Church (ABCC). This BCA-supported position will see him preach the gospel, lead people to Christ and make disciples of Aboriginal people living in rural and remote areas of South Australia.

Hurley familyBrendan & Laura Hurley, together with their children have served St George’s Bluff Point in WA for four years. In early 2023 they are moving to Broken Hill where Brendan is taking on the role of Senior Pastor at Saltbush Evangelical Church.


James & Brittany DaymondJames & Brittany Daymond
 
will move from Mudgee to Cobar in 2023. James will commence as the Parish Priest for St Paul’s Anglican. James & Brittany have served with BCA since 2017 working in an evangelistic role, first in Narromine and then in Mudgee.

The Revd Brian HardingThe Revd Brian Harding (4 November 1930 – 22 July 2022) together with his wife Joy served with BCA in Paraburdoo/Tom Price from 1990–1995. Brian is survived by Joy, daughters Miriam and Roslyn, son-in-law David and grandchildren Alana, Jessica, Owen and Angus.
