FAREWELL

The Hemmings family who served with BCA in the Bendigo Diocese as the Ministry Development Officer with a focus on Sunday School in a Box, concluded their time with BCA in mid-2023. George continues his role in the Diocese.

The Collings family who served with BCA in Moranbah in the Central Queensland Diocese for the past six years have taken up a new role in the Diocese of Canberra and Goulburn. Luke is now the Minister in Charge of Yass.

Congratulations to Trent McGrath who was priested in the Diocese of Canberra and Goulburn on Saturday 25 November 2023.

Tabitha Grace Nicol was born to proud parents Frank & Jo, and siblings Lydia, Eli and Silas on Sunday 17 December 2023. She  weighed in at 3.2 kilograms.

WELCOME

Josiah Elsley has joined the NSW/ACT team as a student minister. Josiah will visit churches on deputation.

Ted Brush has returned to work in the BCA National Office in a part-time capacity.

VALE

Peter Achurch (9 August 1937 – 4 December 2023) served with his wife Margaret as missioners at Leigh Creek and the Northern  mission from 1989 –1994. Peter is survived by Margaret, children and in-laws Mark, Robert and Iris, Duncan, Clare and Christine as well as eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. 

Nick Puttman (5 September 1957 – 24 December 2023) served with his wife May as hostel parents at Broken Hill Hostel from 1988 – 1990. When Nick and May were married in 1988 their wedding was officiated by then BCA Federal Secretary Ernie Carnaby and  NSW General Secretary Brian Roberts. Nick is survived by May and children Robert and Faith.
