Greg Harris - National Director
Today I’d like to share with you some exciting news about a new ministry location and welcome the Field Staff who will serve there.
Philip & Jessica van’t Spyker together with their children Jasper, Tabitha, Otto and Corin are moving to Yeppoon to serve in the Anglican Parish of Keppel in the Diocese of Central Queensland. Philip will take on the role of Families Minister.
The van’t Spykers currently live in Ipswich, Queensland where for the past 18 months Philip has been working as a funeral director. They are very much looking forward to being freed up to do full-time ministry.
“We want to share Jesus with families in Yeppoon and help train youth and children’s leaders across the Anglican Diocese of Central Queensland,” says Philip. “We ask, as does the Apostle Paul in Colossians, that God would open up doors for the message of the gospel so that we might proclaim the mystery of Christ.”
The van’t Spykers would also value your prayers as they say goodbye to friends and neighbours in Ipswich and make the move to Yeppoon. May they be godly as they face the stresses of moving, setting up a new home and for the kids starting at new schools. Please pray that God would help them trust Him to faithfully provide new friends and a local 'family’.
It is so exciting to be able to partner with another parish in the Diocese of Central Queensland, particularly with a focus on reaching children and families. Please join with me in welcoming the van’t Spykers.
