Many Things to be Thankful for at NSW/ACT AGM

The NSW/ACT Annual General Meeting held on 7 April was filled with encouragement.

The meeting kicked off with a devotion on Psalm 1, led by The Revd Justin Moffat, the Rector at Church Hill St Philips’ Church, located a few doors up from the National Office in Sydney.

NSW/ACT Regional Officer Peter Adkins thanked supporters for their generous and faithful giving that supports a range of ministries across New South Wales and the ACT. He also spoke about his conversations with young people at colleges and in ministry about the possibility of serving in the bush.

BCA Field Staff Brian Champness from Goulburn encouraged the meeting with news of the developing children’s and families’ ministries that he runs with wife Ali, recent outreach events, and how the church plant they are involved in has outgrown its venue. Brian encouraged everyone to keep passing on the gospel to the next generation.

National Director Mark Short also gave a brief update on BCA nationally, including news from Field Staff around the nation.
