Last chance to apply for 2018 April Bottom Scholarship

This scholarship, maintained by BCA on behalf of the late April Bottom’s family, is designed to help someone who is looking to undertake study away from home but can’t afford to do so. This year $11,500 will be awarded to a student who needs to move away from the Parish of Broken Hill and the Far West region to achieve their potential.

To be eligible for the 2018 April Bottom Scholarship you must:

• Be a resident of the Parish of Broken Hill and the Far West
• Undertake study outside the Parish in 2018
• Submit your completed application by the closing date and have it verified by your parents/carers
• Provide academic records from the previous year and any information to support your application including club memberships, sporting or academic achievements.

The winner of the 2018 Scholarship will be notified in mid-October 2017 and the amount of $11,500 will go towards their tuition fees/boarding fees/text books etc. as they commence their studies in 2018.
