Greg Harris – National Director
Today I’m pleased to announce that BCA is supporting a total of seven Theological Bursary students in 2024. Three of these students are Indigenous and four are non-Indigenous. They are all committed to serving as gospel workers in rural, regional or remote Australia at the completion of their studies.
BCA has a proud history of sponsoring people to study for ministry. In 1921, our Organising Missioner The Revd S J Kirkby said, “An important concern to our Society is that of the training of men and women for our distinctive work. It is absolutely necessary that this be kept in the forefront. The future of our Society, even the future of our Church depends upon it.”

I invite you to join me in praying and giving thanks for: Lonny (Ridley – Melbourne); Terrence (Youthworks – Sydney); Derek (BST – Brisbane); Malachi (Trinity – Perth); Samuel (Moore – Sydney); Riley (Trinity – Perth); and Callum (Ridley – Melbourne).
These students will benefit from ongoing pastoral support during their studies as well as the amazing prayer support of BCA supporters nationwide.
Please pray that Lonny, Terrence, Derek, Malachi, Samuel, Riley and Callum would be diligent in their studies and keep their eyes focused on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).
