Going Bush is an initiative that encourages young people to consider living and working in rural and regional locations.
The program supports recent school and university leavers who are considering moving to rural parts of Australia to work and connects them with Christians and a local church in which they can serve.

Lisa in Lightning Ridge
One keen church member can make a difference in any church, but in a small church like Lightning Ridge it can be even more noticeable. Lisa moved to Lightning Ridge as a speech therapist in 2013 and it has been a joy to see her looking for ways to serve in church and making the most of opportunities to reach out to her workmates. Having someone full of energy and enthusiasm like Lisa has been a real encouragement to the church – it’s like having another member on the ministry team. As a young, single, mature graduate, Lisa has capability, availability and dependability.
