Sixty kids from across the country enjoyed catching up with old friends and making new friends at the BCA Field Staff Conference in Collaroy, Sydney.
Living in rural, regional and remote parts of our country can be tough on kids, especially when they don’t have many, or even any, Christian friends. It was a time of fun, friendship and fellowship. The kids’ programs were coordinated by Glenhaven Anglican Church Kids Minister Elise Paton and led by a number of volunteers and BCA Nomads. A big shout out to all of them!
Activities included balloon games, Olympic ring art, orienteering, athletics carnival, rock climbing, challenge course, high ropes, archery and giant swing.
Here’s what a couple of the kids had to say about their time at Field Staff Conference:
“I loved being back at the BCA Conference because I could see my friends again from last time and when we would go out to our kids program, we had an awesome time doing kids Olympics. The leaders were awesome too!” Elka Horne, age 9, Southern Beaches, Tasmania
“BCA Field Staff Conference was a good chance to get together with all the other folks from around the country and a great opportunity to rest and have a break while also sitting in God’s word and encouraging each other,” Zac McDonald, age 17, Roxby Downs & Adelaide
