North West Australia - Seasonal Ministry Support |
Around June and July each year seasonal visitors to the North West of Australia increases the coastal towns by thousands. In Broome alone, around 7,000 tourists arrive each year as they come and fill up the six caravan parks for the winter months. The largest has 1000 sites. During the tourist season, BCA has had permission to minister in five of the parks, which exposes us to many people with whom to minister. The programme is run by Michael & Joan Maude (Co-Workers, self funded) who retired to live initially in Broome and have now moved to Carnarvon. They have been supported in the past by Ian and Judy Neal (also past BCA Co Workers) and a team of BCA Nomads who traveled to Western Australia for the express purpose of ministering in camping grounds and caravan parks. They attempt to ensure the visitors who take up temporary residence in the north west have an opportunity to hear the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. BCA Nomads are a vital part of the success of Christ for Campers and we give thanks for those who offer their support.
