| Kangaroo Island is part of the Diocese of Adelaide. Is located off the end of the Fleurieu
Peninsula south of Adelaide, and was the first settlement in South Australia. It is an Island approximately 160kms long
and 40 kms wide. Grazing, timer plantations and tourism are the main industry. Good fishing and recreational waters
abound. The Island has 3 Anglican Church buildings – all very well maintained – at Parndanna, Kingscote and Penneshaw.
The Society has entered into a partnership with the Diocese and Parish and are thankful for the opportunity to assist with ministry on the Island. Mark & Sandy Evans, served with BCA in Leigh Creek from February 2002 to late 2005, commencing their appointment to the Parish on 27th November, 2005. Mark and Sandy have three sons, Simon, Nick and Matt, who live in Victoria. Simon, married to Kerrie, has two children, Caleb and Jessie.
