Acts 2:38

“God has raised this Jesus to life, and we are all witnesses of the fact.”

To ICS

  • The Anglican churches in Swiss mountain resorts of Zermatt and Wengen were full of worshippers at Christmas. Pray that the good news preached will bring many to a saving faith in Christ.

  • As in Australia, European mission agencies are finding it increasingly hard to attract younger supporters especially to fund general mission work. Pray that we will find ways of helping people to support us, whilst remaining true to biblical principles

  • ICS, working with the Diocese of Egypt, has helped fund a new area Bishop for North Africa to develop ministry amongst the growing international communities of Algeria, Libya and Tunisia. May Bill know God’s grace and wisdom as he ministers in the Islamic context.

Pray for the Personnel Committee
The Ven. Ken Allen – Chairman
Revd Lilian Morgan
Revd Michael Stuart
Revd. Ernest Horth
Revd Greg Jones
Revd Don Allen
Mrs Aila Alderson
Mrs Anne Thompson
Revd Canon Brian Roberts
(ex officio)

Please pray:

  • That the members of the committee will be faithful in contacting and praying for the Field Staff in their care;

  • As relationships develop, the Field Staff will be confident to share their deeper needs and problems with the committee member who contacts them. In sharing these joys and burdens with someone away from the place of service, they will faithfully bring them to God in prayer.

  • All parties will maintain strict confidentiality.
