Hillston Parish

GO TO PRAYER NOTES

Hillston is an agricultural town about 700 kms west of Sydney. Irrigation of the Lachlan River and through underground bores, has provided an area for the cultivation of vegetables, citrus, almonds, and olives to name but a few. The big produce of the area comes from the planting of dryland wheat, along with the farming of sheep and some cattle.

Lindsay and Lyn moved to Hillston in February 2007 to assist in the ministry to the Anglican church. With the support of the Bishop of Riverina, and BCA, and colleagues in their previous church in the Blue Mountains, they are involved in bible teaching, weekly services, visitation, pastoral care, community activities, and friendship building with the people of the district.
