Field Staff
Field Staff are appointed by BCA in agreement with local Bishops according to the needs of a particular Diocese. They are generally ordained Anglicans.
The usual Field Staff arrangement sees BCA provide a significant portion of the cost of the ministry placement. In some cases the Society provides 100 percent of the stipend and the provision of a vehicle, as well as many of the running costs. In other instances BCA may pay a part stipend, while either the congregation or the Diocese covers the other share of the salary.
Field Staff also receive an Ancillary Support Package. The package may include removal and travel costs, pastoral care provision, annual holiday travel entitlements, professional development, emergency and bereavement travel, long service leave, superannuation payments, and assistance with re-establishment at the end of the service term.

Affiliates
Engaged in ministry not dissimilar to that of Field Staff, Affiliates receive prayer support and pastoral care. The only difference is the majority of their stipend is provided by a source other than BCA. This could be an outside benefactor, another mission agency, or the congregation they minister within.

Co-Workers
Co-Workers are generally tentmakers. In other words they are typically self-funded, self-supporting missionaries. They enjoy prayer support and pastoral care from the BCA family and often work on a short term basis. They must be discerning as to how much time the ministry needs, and how much time they must spend in their supporting employment.
