Fred Chilton has been the Chairman of BCA since May 2007. Prior to that he served for many years as a NSW elected member of Council, a member of the Finance and Property Committee and a member of the NSW Regional Committee. Fred long ago developed a passion for rural, regional and remote Australia, particularly through his work as a mining industry lawyer, his service with the Army Reserve and his links with relatives on the land. He is married to Jillian and they have five adult children, two daughters-in-law and one granddaughter. They worship at St Stephen’s, Willoughby.
