Introducing BCA’s daily prayer notes
With over 38,000 copies of the Bush Church Aid Society’s prayer notes being sent out quarterly, it was time to create something that reached people daily. A daily prayer notes email was developed, that features one or two BCA staff or mission centres daily.
With a short email arriving at inboxes around Australia every day, the prayer support received is powerful. To know people throughout Australia are praying for them is of great comfort and encouragement to BCA field staff. Richard Goscombe, from Wickham in Western Australia, is grateful for the continued prayer support. “We might be separated by the tyranny of distance but there are people in real time and real places praying for us” he says. “This fellowship in the gospel is fantastic.”
It is not only a fantastic way to regularly support BCA with prayer, but it also allows for current updates about the work that is being done.
While the prayer notes booklet is small and portable, these daily updates allow for a quick, daily reminder to pray. Whether it is sent to your work email, or a personal email, you can easily take five minutes out of your day to send up a prayer for a BCA staff member. It is greatly appreciated.
