Cyclone Laurence
Praise God that all BCA staff and parishioners are safe and sound in Kununurra and Wyndham after the threat of Cyclone Laurence. The cyclone avoided the town and is currently heading to Derby and then Broome. Some wind and heavy rain were experienced but with it brought some “much welcomed cooler weather” according to local field staffer Gary Alexander.
Prayer is needed for Mark, a local Christian from the Baptist church in Kununurra who was injured. He is an electrician and fell off a roof he was working on during the heavy winds. He has at least a broken arm but further tests are being done in Darwin on his back and neck. Pray for quick healing and the wisdom of the doctors treating him.
