Bill and Jocelyn Ross on the move

Bill & Jocelyn RossIn September last year the Ven. Bill Ross, and his wife Jocelyn, announced their move from Port Hedland. Now the time has almost arrived. The end of January marks 10 years since they moved to Hedland and 40 years since their arrival in the North West of Australia. Moving from Albury NSW, first to Kununurra with BCA, Bill commented that he believed God was calling him to share in His work among the people of the “developing area” of the North West of Australia. After his term at Kununurra, Bill and Jocelyn served in the West Pilbara and then at Bluff Point, before again joining BCA as Field Staff, Wickham in 1993. They were called to Hedland early in 2000.

In the first week of February they will be moving to Geraldton, where Bill will take on the role of Chaplain at the Mission to Seafarers for 2 years. “That time will give us the opportunity to hear what God is saying for the future” Bill commented. Pray for them as they cut the ties of so many years.

Rev. Philip Knight, wife Elke and their children will continue in Hedland as BCA Field Staff and senior minister in the church. The Knights have been ministering alongside Bill and Jocelyn since January 2006.
