Yass/Gunning
The Yass/Gunning area covers a large portion of the Southern Tablelands of NSW. It includes towns such as Bowning, Dalton, Gunning and Yass. The area has not had much exposure to schools ministry, with many schools having scripture only once a term, if at all.
Helena Painting
Combining two of her passions, youth and God, Helena is working to create relationships with young people around the Yass/Gunning area. A part time TAFE teacher, she spends the remainder of her week visiting schools and making connections there. A long-time country girl, she is able to empathise and connect with families about the struggles they face living in remote Australia.
