The Lanhams’ first day in Sale

Rich Lanham began work today as an Assistant Minister in the Cathedral Parish of Sale Gippsland, with a particular responsibility for developing youth and young adult ministry in the town and beyond.  Please pray for Rich, Julie and their family as they settle into a new home and make contacts in the church and community.  Details about a commissioning service will be available shortly.

Happy New Year!

As Les and Jenny Gaulton (BCA Field Staff in Karratha/Dampier) mentioned for their January prayer points, let us all give thanks for the opportunities that January brings for prayer and planning for 2012. Pray for our Field Staff and for each other that we will all be Christ-focussed and discover what God's plans are and not simply impose our own.

The Lanhams are on the move!

Rich, Julie and the boys will be moving to Sale in the Diocese of Gippsland where Rich will be the Assistant Minister at the Cathedral parish. He will be developing their work with children and youth and encouraging youth ministry in the rest of the Diocese.

BCA is currently working with the churches in Gilgandra to make sure that the great work done by the Lanhams in the town continues to flourish.

Welcome to the Chambers!

Geoff and Sarah Chambers along with their three children will be joining the BCA Family in January as Affiliates as they serve in the Anglican parish of South Tamworth. Geoff will be involved in parish work with a particular focus on ministry with local Indigenous people.

He is being ordained as Deacon in St Peter's Cathedral, Armidale on December 17.

Have you considered serving God in the beautiful Pilbara region?

BCA is currently seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and gospel‐focussed Anglican minister to encourage and build up the congregations in the West Australian mining towns of Paraburdoo and Tom Price.
