Central Mallee

BCA originally had a presence in the Mallee for the first half of the 20th Century and made a return to the region in 2010. The land has always been rugged for farming says ex-Mallee farmer, Ron Vine.“Considering it was all trees up to 100 years ago,” he says, “it’s taken a long time to mature up to the point it is today. In the last 10 years the Mallee has become the highest wheat growing land in all of Victoria.” The region features many small towns such as Patchewallock and Underbool.
