Mission is the calling of all God’s people and at Bush Church Aid, we have a number of opportunities for you to serve in the bush.
The BCA Nomads scheme connects Christians travelling around Australia with Field Staff and the churches they serve.
Generally run for high school students, the Dusty Boots Program seeks to connect with and serve in remote communities.
Going Bush is an initiative for recent university graduates who are interested in working in remote and regional Australia and wish to make connections with a local church.
BCA welcomes enquiries from committed Christians who wish to explore whether they have the convictions, gifts and character to serve God in the bush.
Mission Contacts play a vital role in promoting partnership between God’s people in their local church and Christians in the bush.
Mission Contacts promote the work of Bush Church Aid by making announcements in church, distributing and managing money boxes, placing advertisements in church bulletins and doing whatever they can to strengthen connections between their church and our Field Staff

Short-term Mission trips allow you to use your ministry skills and gifts as part of the team at a BCA location. Go on your own or with a mission partner to serve brothers and sisters in Christ around Australia and discover what ministry in the bush is all about. Opportunities are flexible and we can tailor the experience to suit your needs.
