Religious Education at Crookwell

“My name is Shanan Brown. I am the Youth worker at St Bartholomew’s Anglican Church in Crookwell. I started work in February this year.

So far, I have taken over the running of the youth group and our evening service, as well as being allowed into the high schools at lunch time and developing relationships with the families in the town. I am also looking forward to the opportunity to teach Scripture at the high school.

My vision for this role and for the youth is to “Love Jesus, Learn Jesus and Live Jesus”. I am looking forward to seeing what God is going to do in this town. The time I’ve spent in Crookwell has allowed me to see some of the needs of a small rural town and of the teenagers who are part of the community. It is going to be an exciting and hard time over the next few years but I am dedicated to be used by God for His purpose and glory.

Thank you for all your support and I hope you can continue to pray for me and for all of Crookwell as we wait to see what God has planned for this ministry.”

Shanan
